I have always had good experiences with Armitron and do not fault them for what disappointed me. They weren't the ones who sent me a watch with a dead battery. At first, I thought the movement had been stopped to save battery power, as is common with new watches. I put in a new one, applied silicone grease to the watch gasket (very thin and difficult to work with), and pressed the case closed. The work wasn't difficult, but that doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't have had to do it already on a "new" watch The watch has a very basic Seiko Epson movement. Even though the watch was cheap, I didn't expect poor quality. I tested the battery first and found right away that the movement wasn't the problem. Either the movement was broken or the battery was dead....
