This is good news for the old eagle that is always watching. I have a feeling its going to come back and if we have faith it will come back bigger than it was. And how it used to be and is now. Then as I drove up by the church a huge flock were in the hay field picking through the dead grass for food. It tore off the heavy tarp and destroyed all the steel struts. This is the second time the wind had destroyed his shop. Lots of our birds are back and also some blue birds I wonder what they get to eat with so much snow still around. A few mornings ago I noticed some big chunks of ice floating around and it was loaded with flocks of Canada geese. Easter is also a time when families get together for Easter dinner and enjoy each others company. This is a big shop and will very expensive to rebuild. Easter has come and its behind us now. I thought for a while the ducks were not coming back but I was wrong. After a long winter we all need a little recharging and Easter does just that. Opera Theatre of the Rockies
It was a gorgeous day and in the back of my mind I was wondering how many more light jacket, sunny days were left to enjoy. Pikes Peak Opera Theatre of the Rockies came to town this past Sunday, and it was wonderful to see the theatre full of patrons despite the waning days of Indian Summer. They were so young to have so many professional credits. I was amazed at the number of roles they had played and the opera companies with whom they had performed. I decided to attend the concert, and I was amply rewarded. Should I be outdoors basking in the sun (charging the batteries before the onslaught of winter) or should I be indoors supporting In Concert, a local philanthropic group that brings classical music to The Valley....
